Contributed Talks and Posters:

Participants are invited to contribute their recent results in all areas of nonlinear dynamics. A limited number of contributions will be selected for oral presentation. Please closely follow the instructions for Registration & Abstract Submission in order to be eligible for a contributed talk. Application for contributed talks and posters requires the submission of a short abstract and further information in form of an extended abstract or a recent paper. Preferentially, this information should be given by a URL.
Posters will be on display during the whole conference, in addition to special poster sessions. Reviving an old tradition of Dynamics Days there will be awards for best poster presentations.

Location:

The sessions will take place in the communication center of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) on the campus of the University of Heidelberg. For detailed information see the links "information" and map.

Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ)
Im Neuenheimer Feld 280
69120 Heidelberg

How to get to the DKFZ: From the train station, you may use tram no. 1 or 4 (direction to Technologiepark or Handschuhsheim) to the stop "Jahnstraße" (2 stops) and then walk about 5 minutes to the west. From the city center ("Bismarckplatz"), the fastest transfer is by bus no. 33 (direction Sportzentrum Nord) to "Chirurgische Klinik" close to the DKFZ.

Schedule:

The conference will start on Monday, July 15 at 9 am and end on Friday, July 19 in the afternoon.

Registration fees:

 until May 15after May 15
Students (incl. PhD students)150,- EUR200,- EUR
Regular (non-industrial participants)250,- EUR300,- EUR
Industry350,- EUR400,- EUR

The fees cover access to the scientific sessions, the book of abstracts, coffee breaks and one buffet.
The fee is to be paid in cash in EURO upon arrival at the conference. Students are asked to present their student ID.
Cancellation is possible until May 15, 2002 by email (dd02@iwr.uni-heidelberg.de).

Financial Support:

There will be limited funds to support scientists from less-favoured regions in Europe and young researchers. German students, who are members of the German Physical Society, are eligible for support by the Heraeus foundation.

Please use the remark field of the electronic abstract submission form to apply for reduced fees, and grants for travel and local expenses. The applications will be reviewed together with the contributions to the conference, such that promises for financial support can be sent out in late April and beginning of May together with the notification of the acceptance of contributed talks and posters.
